Military Enchampment
Through careful analysis of the fresco by Simone Martini, the Tuscan painter who portrayed Guido Riccio da Fogliano in the Palazzo Pubblico of Siena, it was possible to reconstruct two models of medieval tents to set up a real military encampment that can be used as support to revive daily life during displacements of lordships and armed groups.
The tents also can be visited inside and the public can follow a didactic path, where will find manufactured goods and reconstructions of medieval instruments, accompanied by descriptions. |
